● Made composites with different weight ratios of nanoparticles in polyester by Solution Casting method. 

● Evaluated mechanical properties of fabricated nanocomposites.

  • Fabricated surgical sutures by wet spinning.

  • Extracted antibacterial peptide from natural source.

  • Coated the extracted peptide on the surgical sutures.

  • Characterized the peptide-coated surgical sutures by hemolysis test, RBC aggregation test, antibacterial studies, bacterial response studies, and animal studies.
